Hello! My name is Britnie Young and I am one of the Preschool Special Education Teachers at Hutchens Elementary School. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education with a dual certification in Collaborative Special Education. I worked as an Early Intervention Special Instructor at United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile for three years before I started my teaching career. I have taught in a Kindergarten through Second grade self contained class and a Third grade through Fifth grade self contained class in Lee County as well as taught Special Education preschool at United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile. I now teach Special Education Preschool at Hutchens and absolutely love it. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my daughter Harper and 2 dogs, Max and Ruby.
